Langage Energy Park is a large development incorporating the Centrica owned Langage Power Station and Langage Solar Photovoltaic Site. Hornbill were commissioned to carry out the high voltage installation and maintenance work at both major sites. Work included routine high voltage maintenance of all step-up generating transformers, station maintenance transformers and service transformers. In addition to this we were largely involved with initiating the electrical infrastructure of the photovoltaic site. Continue reading →

Team Hornbill ran the Race for Life 2011 in Swansea for Cancer Research UK. All funds raised were matched by Hornbill, raising a total of £174.00. Well done girls!!

A new client had a significant fire on site, taking out a complete section of their process. Local companies this client normally used were unable to respond in the rapid time frame required. Hornbill Engineering were asked to carry out the electrical, instrumentation and control installation in a quick turnaround, which also included the software design and manufacture of control panels.
