During November each year, Movember is responsible for the sprouting of moustaches on thousands of men’s faces. The aim of which is to raise funds and awareness for men’s health, specifically prostate cancer and other cancers that affect men.

Langage Energy Park is a large development incorporating the Centrica owned Langage Power Station and Langage Solar Photovoltaic Site. Hornbill were commissioned to carry out the high voltage installation and maintenance work at both major sites. Work included routine high voltage maintenance of all step-up generating transformers, station maintenance transformers and service transformers. In addition to this we were largely involved with initiating the electrical infrastructure of the photovoltaic site.

Team Hornbill ran the Race for Life 2011 in Swansea for Cancer Research UK. All funds raised were matched by Hornbill, raising a total of £174.00. Well done girls!!
